Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: 15 October 2026
Bare Axis is free to read, carries no advertising and sells nothing. It is paid for by affiliate commission, and this page explains exactly how that works so you can weigh what you read here with the arrangement in view.
The arrangement in one paragraph
Decor charm production s.r.o. takes part in an affiliate programme for World of Warships, operated by an affiliate network. Three links on this site lead to that programme. If you follow one and go on to download the game and create and activate an account, the network records that the referral came from here and pays Decor charm production s.r.o. a commission. The commission is paid on the sign-up itself, not on anything you buy, and you pay nothing for following the link — the game is free to install either way.
Where the links are
- In Step 3, at the point where the step asks you to read the vendor's own agreement, requirements and privacy notice.
- In Step 5, where the step asks you to find the vendor's support channel before you need it.
- On this page, below.
That is all three. Every one of them is labelled with a line of plain text directly beside it saying what it is, and the homepage carries a disclosure box above the step list rather than below it. There are no unlabelled affiliate links anywhere on this site, no banner advertisements, no sponsored sections and no paid placements of any other kind.
What the commission does not decide
The commission decides that an affiliate link exists on this site. It does not decide what the five steps say.
Concretely: no checklist item was softened, no caution was removed and no section was shortened because it might discourage a sign-up. Several parts of the course push in the opposite direction — Step 2 tells you to stop if the hardware falls short, Step 3 asks you to read the terms before downloading anything, Step 4 tells you to store no payment method, and Step 5 treats a written limit of zero as a complete answer and says that stopping after four weeks is a normal outcome. Those passages cost money and they stay.
Nothing here calls the product the best of its kind, and nothing claims any result from playing it. What this site states about the product comes only from what the programme states about it. Where a reader would want a figure we do not have — current system requirements, prices, the detail of purchases — the course sends you to the vendor's own page instead of guessing.
What does decide the content
Three things. First, the sequence of decisions a first-time player actually faces, which set the five steps and their order. Second, Australian government guidance, which the course links to rather than paraphrasing, so you can check it. Third, the ordinary mechanics of desktop software, described in general terms that apply to any game in the category rather than as a tour of one product's screens.
The full editorial method — how the course was structured, what sources sit behind each step, and how often it is reviewed — is set out on the About page, which also repeats the commercial relationship in the same terms as this page.
Why a product is named at all
A course about reading an account agreement is abstract until there is an agreement to read, so the course points at something concrete. The product it points at is the one behind the affiliate arrangement, and both halves of that sentence are true, which is why the disclosure is not buried.
Naming is not recommending. You can finish every step and every checklist without creating any account, and the checklists mention no product at all. If you open an account somewhere else, or nowhere, the course has still done what it was written to do.
The link itself
Visit the World of Warships websitePaid affiliate link, and the third of the three on this site. Decor charm production s.r.o. is paid a commission by the affiliate network if you create and activate an account after following it. Your costs are unchanged.
The game is published for desktop Windows and Mac computers. There is no Linux version, and it is not a phone or console title.
What happens to your information
Following the link takes you off this site. From then on, the vendor and the network may set cookies on their own domains to record the referral, under their own policies. Decor charm production s.r.o. receives commission reports from the network and uses them only to check that payments are correct; we do not ask for information identifying individual readers and are not given any. bareaxis.online itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser — see the Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy.
