Cookie Policy
Effective date: 15 October 2026
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and hand back on later visits, which is how a site can recognise a returning browser. Similar technologies do the same job by other means — localStorage and sessionStorage keep values in the browser, IndexedDB keeps a small database, tracking pixels report a page view through an image request, and browser fingerprinting identifies a device from the combination of settings it reveals.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. bareaxis.online sets no cookie of any kind, for any purpose, at any point.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. No third party has any component on these pages, so nobody else can set a cookie through them. There are no analytics, no advertising tags, no social buttons and no embedded videos or maps.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to it, including the state of the checklists.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. No session identifier exists on this site, because there is no session.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. No database is created in your browser.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no image files on this site at all; the illustration and the icon are inline SVG written into the pages.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. Nothing here reads your fonts, canvas, screen configuration or device characteristics to identify you.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The site uses the typefaces already on your system and one short first-party script, served from this domain, which does two things: it opens the small-screen menu and it calls the browser's print dialog on the checklists page. Loading a page here makes no request to any other server.
- Server access logs
- Used. The web server that delivers these pages records each request, as described below. This is the only entry on this list that says "Used."
Why there is no consent banner
Consent banners exist so that a site can ask permission before storing something on your device or sharing you with a third party. This site does neither. A banner here would be a box asking you to agree to nothing, and it would leave the impression that something was being set — which would be untrue. So there is no banner, and that absence is the honest position rather than an oversight.
What does happen when you load a page
Your browser requests a page from our hosting provider's server, and the server writes a line in its access log: the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days and used for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. That is the complete list of what happens, and it is described in more detail in the Privacy Policy, which this page agrees with in every particular.
The checklists do not remember your ticks
The boxes beside each checklist item are drawn with CSS. They are not form controls and they cannot be clicked. Nothing records which items you have completed, on this device or anywhere else, because doing so would mean writing to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB, and none of those is used. The print button on the checklists page exists for exactly this reason: a printed sheet and a pen are the storage.
After you follow an affiliate link
This site carries three paid affiliate links, explained on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Following one takes you off bareaxis.online. Once you are on their domains, World of Warships and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology to record that the referral came from here. Those cookies are theirs, set under their notices, and Decor charm production s.r.o. neither controls them nor can read them. If that matters to you, read their cookie and privacy notices before following the link.
Blocking or clearing cookies anyway
There is nothing from this site to block or clear, but the controls are worth knowing. Every current browser has a privacy or site-data section in its settings where you can see which sites have stored data, delete it for one site or all of them, block third-party cookies, or clear everything when the browser closes. Private or incognito windows discard site data when the last such window is closed. The wording differs between browsers; the setting is in all of them.
If this ever changes
If a cookie or similar technology is ever introduced on bareaxis.online, this page will be rewritten first to say what it is and why it exists, the effective date will change, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before any cookie is set. We will not set something first and update the page afterwards.
